Everyone perceives things in different ways. Maybe Brooke put him out of her mind as a way to cope so she buried those memories and maybe Katie just never forgot him. It happens
Just my opinion, they didn’t do a very good job of explaining this to the girls. They’re old enough to understand the legal reasons, to protect them. Beth should have let Storm continue along those lines. 😔
Ridge was right about something Eric was a fool for trying to leave stephany and he turned to be an actual fool when he did leave her for a girl half his age who played with him and the threw him to the wind to run after other men including his son Eric was the most foolish man on the sries responsible for destoying not only his family but also his company
Why I a man a fool to leave a marriage if he wants out.....no human should have this amount of control over another.... Is either the marriage could work or it cant...nothing worse than an unhappy marriage
I can see Katie, brooke and donna and storm getting upset that their daddy left. But, Ridge and Thorne are grown men!!! grow up Ridge!!! parents divorce all the time. He's acting like a teenager!!! smdh And Stephanie talks about saving her marriage, meddling into finding the Logan's biological dad. You can't MAKE somene love you, Stephanie is a hypocrite flirting with her own daughter's boyfriend!!!
I love this family oriented episode, that even as adults, our parents mean a lot to us ❤💙♥💖. For the first time, I see the resemblance between Katie, Donna and Brooke. Brooke and the Forresters on her mind, why should Eric be mentioned to Donna and Katie
Uhm...it's not the same. She had 2 fake deaths that made it look like she died and after their kids were ADULTS HE LEFT HER OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR THE WOMAN HE KNEW FROM THE BEGINNING AND WHO HE SAW AS HIS WIFE WHO HE MARRIED AND HELPED HIM TO RAISE TAYLOR'S KIDS AND HIS KID.
@@adithalee8660 she didn't fake those deaths, she was being held against her will. Stop. She was trying to find her way back the second time once she escaped
"Whoever she is is she worth walking out on us?" - I too have wondered about that comment. Eric divorcing Stephanie didn't mean that he was walking out on his adult children. Between 1987-1988 we had both Forrester sons ready to get married and married Thorne would have moved out if his wife Caroline had accepted his birthday gift (shown her brochures of properties). But Ridge thinks his father can't leave them? Felicia, and Kristen the year before too, had been away from home for years, living in a dorm at college/university and Felicia had not returned for anyone's marriage, while Kristen in 1987 first had not wanted to return to LA either -> but wait, Eric can't leave the home, right?
This is a soap. So, naturally the kiddies are gonna live at home cause the parents are rich. Brookes parent's weren't rich. That said, in real world; there are adult kids who still live at home. But they help out. Ridge does nothing but chase and use women.
Stephanie said she was pregnant by the end of her Freshman year and Eric’s final year From the year books he finished in 1959. Ridge’s birthday was early in the year so likely he was born early 1960. Beth said she and Stephen married in 1960 and Storm must have been born around 1964 as he was 23 when the show started. Making Ridge 28. But I know they change their ages!
It looks like Brooke is changing her mind. She has no longer encouraged Beth to marry Eric nor supported Storm's idea of declaring Stephen legally dead. It doesn't seem to me that she is hiding it from her family just to continue the charade, she is really struggling internally and even ended up confessing the truth to Donna.
Her father didn’t want to come back and he wanted Brooke to go on like they never met. In the end of this episode she struggles with almost telling the younger sisters.
Selfish really she wanted her mom to know about the letter but Storm told her she would only mess her mom up and then Brooke went to see him and he said he didn’t want to go back home or for her to tell anyone she found him, so would you run home and mess up your family worst after all the pain he caused them
Not Selfish at all, the family is divided, hard for All to come together. Brooke can be wishy-washy, but she does protect her mom. She was a little mean to her mom at one time,,but her Mom she’ll protect.I thank Brooke ❤’s her Mom,,,Lot!
You're wrong. Since Brooke saw her father alive, she is no longer encouraging Beth to marry Eric and declare Stephen legally dead. If she didn't tell them before, it was because her father asked her to and didn't want to go home with her. But now she told Donna.
I think Brooke needs to start being a little more honest. The whole fiasco with Ridge’s letter to Caroline you would think she would have learned something from that already.

John McCook playing the piano is wonderful ✨
I love the classic soap opera look and feel … music… theatrical acting… the shooting… why modern episodes are so different …
That's why I love the old episodes of bold and the Beautiful the new stuff I just don't like
I LOVE the passion Ridge puts in defending his mother!
How does Katie remember so much about her dad when Brooke said she vaguely remembers him. This is heartbreaking 💔 😢
She had to be about 10 years old when he left because Brooke was 14 when he left.
Probably Bell's mistake.
Everyone perceives things in different ways. Maybe Brooke put him out of her mind as a way to cope so she buried those memories and maybe Katie just never forgot him. It happens
In these episodes are the Writer's Strike. The previous episodes were written by writers, so there are no errors on Bill Bell

The writing for the Logans was so good - as to how to find closure while living in a world of false hope. I really felt bad for them.
Beautiful sunsets at the Forrester home!
Thanks for the Upload 👍 !! I love the overhead shots on this soap !! XD
You're welcome, and thanks ☺️🚫🤣🌍🚭😴✅🛑🥺😣😳😲👍▶️🙂 for that comment 🤠🎉🎊😺😸😹😁😃 for this one.
Brooke and Donna outside in the rain♥️😭😭😭 broke my heart💔
Aren't they inside a bedroom or not outside?
OMG! Ridge is acting like a spoiled child. Doesn't he notice that there is no affection or closeness between his parents.
Ridge is way to involved in his parents sex life!!
He is the golden child in Stephanie’s eyes and he is so into his self with the women and plays everyone even his own brother
A senior version of Thomas
@@Stepbystepstuff84 Thomas is mini Ridge Jr.
Even as adults we still want our parents together, even if it's a wish
In these close up shots between Brooke and Donna they look like they can pass for sisters
I didn't know there was a writer's strike then. Still 100x better than today's writing. The suspence is riveting.

Stephanie did more then flirt. She did sleep with Clark Garrison 1 time.

Walk away from your wife and "children"? The youngest Felicia is in college. I see where your kids with Taylor will get this from Ridge.🤣

Ridge, your father is going to miss it, but it's sad he won't tell you his mistress is Brooke's mother, and Brooke knew all along.
