I'm sorry about your truck. But I'm glad you safe and that the tornado went the other way. It would be horrible to have an accident like that in the path of an oncoming tornado.
I had a truck that was in three tornadoes. My dad was lifted off the road into the air in the truck by a tornado on Interstate 20 in Texas and came back down going mostly forward at about 100 mph but in the ditch and the frame was slightly warped. The payload amount changed and the rear tires would rub easily. I was blown off Highway 84 near Mansfield, La trying to escape a tornado warning when it crossed in front of me. A hickory tree was blown down on the same truck by a tornado in central Louisiana and I had a close call in Winnfield, La. Hurricane Gustav covered the roads in central Louisiana with trees like that. Just when you think, "Well, the wind can`t get any worse than the last gusts!" the trees start falling over everywhere. Laura was very bad too.
This year's severe weather season has been like something I've never seen before, tornadoes need to take a mood stabilizer or something for real. Glad you're ok ! Hope you can get your truck taken care of God bless 😇
Ay man, this is my first time seeing your content, and you have done a good job. im sorry about your truck. Hopefully, you dont let this be the end of the road. Friend, stay positive and remember people love you (:
Nah, in reality, we have been seeing weaker tornadoes since 2013. This tornado season has been crazy, though, without a doubt. Nearly had an EF3 drop on my head outside of Winchester, Indiana. That was the first time I ever had a dynamic pipe go straight over my head... I was shxting bricks!
Yeah no, tornadoes have not gotten bigger each year, some years we get stronger than average, some years we get weaker than average. It’s never a constant trend
I don't think the strength has been increasing, just the reported numbers. We still have not seen, in my opinion, an equal to the Tri State 1925 tornado. A few other old F5 tornadoes have also not, I think, been surpassed.
People...their is a difference between a guy who calls themself a storm chaser....and someone who actually went to college and graduates as a meteorologist and chases storms for a company like news channels.
@@Coryphillips1999 Ohh menn...I didn't mean to be disrespectful, sorry if my writing makes it that way...but yeah I would have been pissed and grateful at the same time I guess lol....NEXT TIME YOU ARE ON THE CHASE DO NOT TURN OFF THE CAMERA!!

That's what happens when the "average Joe" tries to chase tornados by following a real meteorologist's live stream. Hopefully you learned your lesson and it won't be your life that ends up destroyed same as your truck next time.
I'm having trouble understanding you at the beginning -- the engine noise is covering up what you are saying. I'll keep going to see if it gets better.

That'll buff right out.
All jokes aside, glad you're safe.
Glad ya made it out, forget the haters...
Thank you!

You must not have been paying attention to the weather for very long

Best intentions gone wrong.
That was a bad night! I never thought Enid was so close to me! Solid storms and hail . . . Sorry about your truck!
What app for radar do you use while chasing? God bless you all. Stay safe
Radar Omega and thank you! You as well!
It’s like playing with a rattlesnake 😢
Extremely dangerous
SHINE ON! SHINE ON!!!
IT'S THE WONDER OF NATURE BABY!
Just got hit with 2 in the span of a week or so, crazy stuff
Ugh, loved my 1996 Z71, but those ball joints are crap compared to the design of the rest of the suspension.

Dont think u should give up your day job lol 😬😂 & def shouldn't go "chasing" by yourself lol 👌💯
Soo you chase storms to get them on video....but you didn't record the action escene...so why so many cameras lol
I turned the dash GoPro off while I was trying to get ahead of it slowly, I was driving so slow that it would have used too much extra space.

I'm a storm chaser, not an "Average Joe" shit happens and sometimes can't be avoided like this time, thanks for your opinion hater.
@@Coryphillips1999 LOL, ok...
Chill out dude, go watch something else
I’ve noticed the “pecking order” amongst you guys out there chasing storms. I enjoy the videos but cringe at the “prima Donna” comments.
The math isn’t mathing somewhere
Live to fight another day! 👍

Great video, Cory! I’m sorry that the Killer Cateye got damaged, but I thank God that you are safe. That’s the main thing.
I like the music that starts playing around 7:31. Very fitting.
Amazing super cell footage, hope your truck is alright- really enjoy these videos!
Thank you! I just started putting everything storm chasing related into a playlist on my channel as well!
@@Coryphillips1999 amazing! I know what I’m binging tonight!
Well - you're lucky that didn't happen in the tornado's path
