The result is millions of angry women who yearn for Hallmark fantasies, and lonely men who die of heartbreak because they have nothing to offer. There appears to be no solution,k and Hallmark is never going to produce a movie about a wealthy young woman (who is also a European princess) who pursues a handsome and hardworking man who cannot make ends meet on a teacher's salary. No one would watch it.

Why do all of these films always have a festival or big event that the protagonist is convinced to attend or shows up at when they realize they are in love 😭✋🏾

Yup well thanks now I won't waste my time with the whole movie, all done in a couple of minutes, this one is meh, didn't feel any chemistry between the guy and girl at all.
I need to move to one of these idyllic small US towns [cough, British Columbia] where i can be a nice, unassuming woman who everyone likes who is murdered by an unknown intruder...wait, no, that's Dateline. I would move to this town and save the paper/bakery/Christmas and fall for the arrogant, ass-ish but ultimately not entirely garbage only-hot-guy-in-town.
