- In this video, I spray the stripped part of the doors with PPG epoxy, and also add single stage black acrylic enamel on the trim area. I also start up the engine in Jade, and give it some gas! Doors look fantastic. Cam info: Competition cam. SK31-216-2 .447 lift.

hi barry nice work well dun barry
Condolences for your neighbours loss, TJ will be smiling in Heaven listening to jade fire up. keep up the great videos.
I know this is a year back, but looking for hinge video.
“The Start-Up” I am a carb guy from way back and I will advise using “Fuel Stabil” in the tank and carb. With the air cleaner off, carburetors have tiny pipes that go from the float bowl to the choke valve on top. Put a cap full in each tube. Use the extended storage chart for the estimated amount of fuel and add as needed. I recommend pulling spark plugs and spraying a “Fogging Oil” made for this purpose. A V8 when shut of will stop in one of 4 locations due to compression. Any position will have some intake & exhaust valves parcilly open, allowing humidity from the air to cause rust in the cylinder(s). Just a word of caution if it has not been done. I know of one guy with create engine seized up after sitting in un heated garage. He compromised with company to diagnose and a machine shop found rust on rings in 3 cylinders.
I don’t know what all has been done as RUclips changed the “Bell” feature and I am not getting notices!
I have several hinge rebuild videos.
I am very impressed with your work and your insistence for neatness, it is a pleasure to see.
Mate , that sound killed me . I listen to it a few times . Amazing one Barry
Man, that looks good! I can't wait to start painting mine. Oh, and that sweet, sweet sound of the engine waking up groggy and "cranky" (haha), after a long hibernation.
Nice content. Do you know where I can buy dark mose green paint
Have you tried local paint supply house?
@JoDaddysGarage paint store says that paint code doesn't exist anymore.
Thank you ps
I've been watching your content for sometime now. It is very helpful to me.
Thak you again
Michael
@@michaelperson361 If you have a sample, they can probably match it,
@JoDaddysGarage no I haven't, I will give them a call.
Thanks
My sincere condolences, Barry!
Barry I used to use the tape method until I bought one of those clip on plastic spouts at Home Depot. They work great! I really like the finished look! So often there tends to be too much gloss and it looks so cheap. That looks factory.
Hi there, I am using your method and my question is, how did you handle the circular patterns left by the pad on the sheet metal.
Circular patterns?
Barry, Jade sounds like a million bucks. “You gonna be so cool goin down da road.”
hi very nice work
awesome video brother and sorry about your neighbors
VP-4464 from SEM is the correct black. It is sold at National parts depot. I think it’s a special formula to replicate the original color, it is very subtly metallic. This is their universal color coat line. It will work over epoxy and your plastic parts. I sprayed gray epoxy (SPI) on mine first as well. Either way yours turned out nice.
looking good. sounds good. ordered me a shirt. hoping it'll get here for Cruisin the Coast so i can advertise for ya..
I don’t know if it’s me but I can’t seem to find that paint any where. Do you have the exact paint code or serial number
I do not. He made
His own mix for me.
Sorry to hear about your neighbors.
That sounds great! What exhaust / engine cam / combo ?
I have another video on the exhaust for this car. This is the cam. Competition cam. SK31-216-2 .447 lift
Love the sound of A V8. Barry, your wall appears to have heaps of brand new tools and even still in packets. What's happening with that? We need a tour of your wall please 🙂
Thanks. That is a lot of random stuff from projects I've done before.
Love that low gloss black. I really like single stage, I just repainted my F250 Super Duty with SS White and I love it. That engine sounds awesome. Do you have the specs on everything you put in it somewhere on your channel? Great job.
All I really have is the cam spec. Competition cam. SK31-216-2 .447 lift
I like that sound I need the spec. On that cam

Quality remains long after the dollars are forgotten
Is that a hole I saw in the bottom of that pass door? As for that paint I have some AE gloss black that I use for lots of odd stuff and it's quite durable. Mine is an 8-1 mix which I have to calculate since my mixing cups don't have it easily marked on it. I didn't paint my door when I did the skin since she hasn't picked an interior color yet...
Maybe.. There was a tiny hole. I will add a little filler....
@@JoDaddysGarage I have one that i missed... Course both sides are blasted and epoxied so it'll just get filled. It'll way outlive me. Got a camera coming tomorrow. Will do an update video and the better half want's me to make vids of my projects and post them so looks like I'm going to have to learn to edit and film and how to keep out of the camera view as much as possible...
It wasn't easy to see but is the primer filling in the pattern on the door? Do you think the top coat will? Are there any top coats that can go directly on bare metal?
It didn't appear it fill it too bad. The black part is finished. When I spray color and clear it may fill a bit more on the rest of the door.
what cam do you have in the engine. that thing sounds good

that engine sounds very nice. What are the specifications for the engine, or can you tell me which video you describe the engine for this car? I have not been following this series as closely as I do the Brooklyn pony. Nice job.
A friend built it for me. I listed the cam specs on an exhaust video I made. Competition cam. SK31-216-2 .447 lift ruclips.net/video/diRBfE0wbjU/видео.html
Thanks for the info. I’ve got a mild 302 in my 65. A friend built for me as well a number of years back. Unfortunately, I lost the folder with all the engine specs init. Hearing you start the car maid me want to go to the garage and start mine. I had an engine bay fire back in March. Just fixed it enough to get it running again. I want to re-wire the entire car for safety purposes now. My vision isn’t good enough to do it on my own, and good help is hard to find lately. Once the wiring is done and some paint work done to fix fire damage, the car will be done again. I’d consider another project, but no room. I can’t see well enough to drive, but I like working on them. Considering selling the 65 to fund a new project, but not sure if I can part with it. I have learned a lot in 20 years of working on this car and 10 years owning a 66 T code before. That project never went far. I wish I had videos like this when I began. I made my share of mistakes. Thanks for the content.
you use some crappy single stage paint don't use Omni use something better quality
you need to clear coat or seal it or it will rub off over a short period of time believe me !!!
Acrylic enamel rubs off?
hi barry sound good barry greg work shop i am on my laptop
