Watch at 0:46 (0.25x speed recommended) and you'll see how they jump off the 180 and into that funnel which then allows them to exit WAY before others. Because it's a cheap maneuver that would result in stealing victories from other marbles through shortcuts, that's why Firework was disqualified (twice, actually). Sunscreen also tried it and also found themselves disqualified.

I think firework jumping nearly jumping the funnel was strategy but it is your race so I won't argue but either way another great race.
