Originating in the 15th century, the Bhakti movement emphasized personal devotion and love for the divine, transcending ritualistic practices. This resurgence within the Dhrupad tradition has begun to attract both knowledgeable and unfamiliar listeners to the nuances of musical notes.
Anyone can participate in this Bhakti movement because it is straightforward and not bound by time. With consistent practice and listening, anyone can easily experience a state of "Samadhi" (deep meditative absorption).
