Prince William: Urgent action on antibiotics resistance is needed for future generations

- The Prince of Wales has called for “urgent” action to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR) that risks “jeopardising the wellbeing” of future generations amid the royal family’s health scares.
AMR occurs when microbes that cause infections develop resistance to treatments such as antibiotics and therefore become difficult or impossible to treat, increasing the risk of disease spread, severe illness, disability and death.
Speaking at an event celebrating efforts to tackle AMR at the Royal Society on Thursday, William called for international and cross-sector co-operation regarding the issue.

We have barely created any new antibiotics in the last 30+ years. The way research is funded has to change because the pharmaceutical is driven by profit and won’t attempt to research anything, or repurpose drugs unless they can make billions from it.

They do all these appearances, but what can be actually SHOWN as a positive result from this. Do people give money? I guess I should do some research. I hope that’s the case. I don’t know how he remains so composed with so much going on. I feel bad for all of them.

People do give more, if royals are involved. At least, they attend charity events!
Why don't you use natural remedies. You may live longer
You should prefer them, wherever possible! And they should be legal, and readily available!
