I’m not even ashamed that I beat him on Easy difficulty. And even there he’s a good challenge. I was getting wrecked during is 2nd and 3rd phases on Normal and my plug ins were all high damage. After beating him tho I realized as hard as he is it’s a very good boss fight and the story was VERY well worth it. Loved seeing his journey throughout different timelines
5:00 Fun Fact: During brain field there's a brain map skill that your brain field will reduce your enemies and there's this System "Double-Edged Sword" + which made also dealt him no damage at all. He didn't use gemma's Sclerokinesis instead the brain field was the one made him dealt no damage and great defense making him getting S rank easily with the items he uses and brain map skill since he has level... Maxed!? 4:48 ??? Does this count as cheating? or... maybe he had play a lot. Nevermind lets move on. Also! after using brain field you can see at 6:04 he almost died after consuming brain field and Gemma's Sclerokinesis wasn't used all along. So it must be the Plug-ins he uses and that is the "Double-Edge Sword"
That was so amazing! That boss battle looks so fun and very challenging! I can't wait to give that boss battle a spin, I have a lot prepared to fight him too but from what I'm seeing, imma need more than just that honestly 😅 Imma do more grinding. Great work bro!
I forgot they added a plug-in that makes you not die. It could be useful to use it as a way to practice and study karen's moves. Especially for his second phase since I still don't know how to properly deal with it. I haven't touched this fight since I uploaded this. Good luck if you're going for the S rank.
imagine if this version of karen was the final boss instead and when they first announced episode karen i was hoping he'd be playable maybe in future dlc or a squeal/prequel game where we see more of the timelines he went though most preferably for me is the timeline before the main game
GET IT!!! Your fight was Awesome!! I don't know how you supposed to S rank clear time. It just seems like everything I try is still B rank. Side note: Kasane's L1 Attack breaks any of his moves for free damage Also, why no partners? If you use Teleport with brain drived Luka you do massive heavy hits on every attack. Its pretty broken. And of course Tsugumi's partner skill is just game breaking
On the other hand, who's this long-haired Karen? Maybe the karen who failed saving alice countless times until he driven insane because of using too much red strings and storing too much arahabaki memories?
Yeah you have to beat it to unlock the last part of karen's story. If you really are struggling and just want to see the story, then I recommend using the health preserve assist plug-in which makes it so you can't die at all.
Just curious what level are you trying this at? I beat it on hard at level 57. But it was a pain in the ass. Just duplicate spam with buffs from either electricity or fire and strong plug ins then go stealth and use Yuitos psychokinesis. I did it with kasane.

the only way i was able to beat him is by spamming that brain field item and brain field and using that item that leaves you with 1 hp no matter what

I need to ask. Why did you run around for a while using various abilities? There seemed like no reason because it wasnt for getting abilities back up.
I think I was just testing things out and seeing what would work. This was my second successful run since I wasn't recording for the first one.
