Thank you for sharing the behind the scenes, it still amazes me how Cate B conducted a real orchestra for real with actual musicians doing their jobs (i saw the ending credits of the movie, they included her name for the performance/music used or something like that) - it seems like a lot of work was put into the rehearsals for the orchestra and her to work together etc.
It was a lot of work and a wonderful experience.
How much effort and work done to create all this! Well done! Bravo!

We don´t need the weird Jury of "The Academy", which disqualified itself in not giving this masterpiece a single award! Let´s stick to all the European awards this film got, they are more significant. 🙂

Danke für das Video. Die Interviews zum Film und zu Lydia Tár sind zahlreich, ich freue mich, dass wir hier mal von euren Eindrücken erfahren. Erst kürzlich monierten einige Klassikschaffenden die stümperhafte Darstellung von Cate Blanchett und Nina Hoss. So sehr sie sich auch um Authentizität bemühten, sie würden es nicht bringen.
Schön, dass eure Berichterstattung etwas wohlwollender ausfällt, Cate ist auch in jedem Gespräch voller Respekt und Demut für das Orchester. Der Film hat etwas geschafft: Mehr Menschen, vor allem Jüngere, für die Klassik zu interessieren. Ihr seid klasse.
Vielen lieben Dank für die freundlichen Worte! :) Der Dreh hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und war eine neue Erfahrung für uns alle. Deshalb gilt unser großer Respekt auch Cate Blanchett, Todd Field, Nina Hoss und dem gesamten Filmteam, die sich auf diese Erfahrung ebenso wie wir eingelassen haben.
In dem Zusammenhang fällt mir eine schöne Anekdote von Nina Hoss ein.
Cate Blanchett fegt völlig entfesselt Mark Strong vom Stuhl während ihr musiziert und eure teils entsetzten Gesichter sind nicht gespielt, weil ihr es einfach nicht wusstet. Priceless.
So prima von euch, dass ihr dieses Spektakel mitgemacht habt...und...JA...dieser Film ist unglaublich gut und erfolgreich...und ihr seid ein großer Teil davon! Glückwunsch!...ich war einmal bei euch 1999, Stehplatz...;-)...werd ich nie vergessen
Vielen Dank! Wir freuen uns auch sehr, diese Erfahrung gemacht zu haben. Übrigens haben wir auch sehr bequeme Sitzplätze, es lohnt sich, die mal auszuprobieren. ;)
