Back in the day on Friday around 4pm all the radio stations would play this song ,,,Loverboy had quite a few catchy hits and even though some of the lyrics were a little cheesey, it is fun upbeat music and I am all for stuff that puts a smile on your face !!😁😁😁👍👍🍺🍺
Also, Todd Rudgren's Bang a drum and a song about getting Stoned, were the 3 songs my local rock station played on Fridays.

Wasn't cheesy in 81....they were great in concert w Journey and Joan Jett!!!
That was such a fun song each Friday.
This song was a MASSIVE HIT in the clubs and radio.... Friday Nights ROCKED this tune everywhere you went and the dance floors were all packed. MTV giant as well. They hit this one out of the park.

Great band from the 80's. "Turn Me Loose" is a great song to discover from them.
One of many Canadian rock bands in the late 70’s and 80’s. Saw them several times as an opening act. Fun live show.
I saw them in 1981 when they opened up for Journey. They were really awesome! They have a lot of great songs.

I saw this group twice in two weeks time, once at Rich Stadium in Orchard Park (Buffalo Bills stadium) backing up for Huey Lewis and the News and then in Erie, Pennsylvania. Besides Loverboy, Foreigner, Iron Maiden and Ted Nugent were at Rich Stadium. They were great all GREAT 😻👏🏻🥰‼️. Mike Reno wore the red one of the times and a black pair the other time. I can’t remember now though, which pair he wore when, but he looked great 😻👏🏻🥰‼️ I wore black leather pants at the first concert.
Mike had pipes back in the day, other good ones are Turn me Loose, The Kid is hot tonight, Heaven in you Eyes (from Top Gun soundtrack) and Almost Paradise (with Ann Wilson of Heart on Footloose Sound Track)
Now at 70.... Everyday is Sunday in my life for the past 14 years of Happily Retired at 56 years old, after 40 years of working to make it happen...a lot of working for the weekends. Smiling

now you have to play "turn me loose " and then start playing the Live concerts from the 80's, meanwhile I think this is Loverboy's last year Gigs/Concerts . se them while you can ;)
