The emotion in the line “your secrets end up splashed on the news front page” is truly heartbreaking. When Taylor wrote this she hadn’t gone through many of the terrible things that the media has done to her and now that her career has grown so astronomical and she is the lucky one, she experienced everything in this song so much more. Amazing how much this song still relates to her even today

If you don't know who she is check out her songs "Ode To Billie Joe" and "Fancy", some classic storytelling.

When i was around 12 i cried for this song even though i didn't understand the lyrics. Now when I do, it hits really different, in a more hurtful way. I think this song relates to me in many ways, it was and will always be my fav in Red.
