Happy New year Rob! So glad you got to experience that Adam and Alan show. It was such an amazing night when I saw them in Maine. I highly recommend Bruce Springsteen’s “The Seeger Sessions”. One of my most favorite records of Bruce’s. It never gets spoken of but it’s the record that got me into him a little more. I also was late to getting into him. Cheers☘️
Hey Brian. Happy New Year. I will keep an eye out for that Springsteen. Alan is coming to my hometown in March. Already sold out though. I may have to see if Kendel can guest list me. I dont want to be that guy that asks. I know the GM of the venue, maybe he can get me in.
Cool Tom Cochrane story…love the cover on that Rick White and The Sadies album…so glad to see you got into Springsteen..Darkness is my favourite album of his..Nebraska is amazing…Delaney and Bonnie..!!! Such an influential band ..love them..saw them three times live..all amazing shows..I like the Skye Wallace album the best..would love to have that on vinyl..Rob..you showed some great stuff..Happy New Year buddy❤❤❤❤❤glen
Right on Rob. I'm still jealous that I never waited on Amanda Marshalls blue vinyl (though, how often to I get to go into Windsor). Hopefully you'll get all of your Bruce albums. He's great! Have a great New Year. We will see you back on Wednesdays. Cheers, Darryl.
@@northernvinylguy I wonder if they’ll put out Amanda’s third album this year? Its not as good as the first two but I’d still buy it. Thanks for doing the Wednesday show with me. Looking forward to 2025.
I love that Tom Cochrane story. I remember you told us about how he was with the other guy, too. I will definitely buy an album or two in 2025. That’s so awesome about the Blue Rodeo show. I took a screen shot of that set list so I can make a playlist out of it, at least with the songs I have (eight albums). The Sadies’ album sounds interesting. I’ll check it out. Tuesday’s Child, too. The debut wasn’t quite to my interest. But then again neither was Chantel Kreviazuk’s debut, though I love her third album. I still need to check out that lady, Skye Wallace music, too. And pick out an Alan Doyle album, and that Baldwin fella… Lots to check out thanks to you, Rob. And Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska as I’ve heard great things about it, but I have never bought a Boss album. I’ve been deciding to pace myself for years but each year I start off running and I don’t slow down. Maybe in 2025 I will be more responsible? Good luck to us both!
Hey Rob- stellar year for records, eh? You and I BOTH discovered Nebraska this year (the album…not the state-the state is boring af) Meeting Tom Cochran? Dude! I shall (try) and karaoke Life is a Highway in your honor. That U2 RSD shocked the heck out of me…stellar! Great post, sir! Bring on 2025! 😎👍
Love the concert memories. Centre In The Square is a great venue. We saw Chantal Krevaziuk, David Copperfield, but not on the same night. 😂 Tom Cochrane sounds like a real gentleman.
Very cool meetup with Tom Cochrane. Darkness On The Edge Of Town is my favorite Bruce Springsteen. I need to get Nebraska. There is a great Delaney and Bonnie and friends live video on RUclips.
