I think that new CHP Whelen CORE siren is starting to grow on me. Still could use a little improvement, but it's growing on me.

I love the default whelen sirens. But is still won’t be the same. I can live with it though atleast they didn’t go with sirens that sounded bad

@Braidenski2 I think Whelen needs to add an updated version of the classic WS-227 siren tones to its Cencom family.
First time seeing the patterns on the new CHP explorer, looks pretty good. Nice catch!
They changed it they had it like the normal Chp light pattern but they changed the light system again since some stuff wasn’t working and stuff so that’s the new new light pattern now
Damn did not expect the new explorers to look that good in CHP livery.

Is CHP going away from one solid light in light bar?
So my camera/ phone doesn’t pick up the steady burns they still have it
They can’t…it’s state law. The camera doesn’t always capture it well in the LED era.

CHP is finally stepping up their game on the lightbars when in yelp mode. Got the take down lights flashing and the bumper lights in a different pattern too.

Thanks! Also the first fpiu for Chp was recorded on my phone. I was recording both with my phone and camera and forever reason it didn’t record the first Chp unit. I don’t have camera on me so standby for an answer on that.

No. It was the canyon so I wouldn’t have made it there in time I think it was about 15 minutes up the hill from where I was.
