Well for one all them female artists are already in the music industry, Samantha has a great future ahead of her to get into the industry with her great voice and how do you know none of them artists can't touch this song? Have you heard them try and sing it? Explain that!.
to get into the music industry you need contacts, every big singer has family/friends in the business. If you don't know anyone it doesn't matter how well you sing.
You don't need a certain tone or power to sing this song to pull it off. Dolly Parton's voice isn't as powerful as Whitney's, Whitney just made it her own. It's one of the hardest songs to sing but if you can find your twist on it you can nail it.

This is such a hard song to replicate, and I love that your voice helps to put a simple spin on the song and you do it perfectly. This sounds genuine and real and works wonderfully.
