New Invasive Ants to Know About

New invasive ant species? Yes, when we think we know about all the ant species, along comes new invasive ants capable of invading our space. Dr. Timothy Davis, University of Georgia Agriculture and Natural Resources, Chatham County Extension Coordinator will introduce to these new invasive ant species that we should know about, assisted by Vicky Bertagnolli-Heller, Clemson University Extension.

37:10 glad you mention the big headed ants. They were once the dominant and only ant species in my home and neighborhood in south florida until the longhorn crazy ant brushed them aside. They're making a comeback lately tho since last year

Yeah the fire ant and little fire ant are quite invasive in the New guinea Islands of Papua New Guinea, wiping out other ant species a very serious problem here
