Im in love with cottage core aesthetic and i love their stereotypes, i want to join too but sadly my mom wont let me go anywhere or even wear a dress. Maybe start by getting some plants and decorating your room with aesthetic things. Look for soft, natural colors and cute floral prints the next time you buy clothing, even if it's "just" a shirt or something. If you do it bit by bit and not all at once, your mom probably won't say anything against it. But remember, even if you don't have the full cottagecore aesthetic yourself, you are part of the community and we love you :)
Baking and making desserts and other meals that are really asthetic is something I like to do, and making lots of decorations for my room and buying/planting plants is a way that I like to be cottagecore/ dark academic
I like to do cottagecore-ish crafts, embroidering, knitting, reading, sewing, the whole nine yards. I too, cant complete this aesthetic as I wish to but a lot of aesthetic is purely fantasy, so including bits and parts of it is the closest we can get

I’m plus size and even though I’m not really cottagecore I can be if I wanted to, usually I dress punk but I do own some cottagecore things, be what you want to be unapologetically
