Ignotus is really well done. It takes 10 seconds to flip the card and take his actions. I don’t always love dummy players, but it’s necessary in this one and almost no upkeep. 2 players is still a ton of fun. -Dean
I am glad you enjoyed it, I seem to get the game early than most people in the world, and I played it only 3 times with 3- 4 players. I really want to like this game, but I end up selling it. Personally, this game is too cutthroat, the economy it's too poor, and at a lower player count, the board is too tight, I feel like it's too hard to perform well, and it kind of feels like there is a player elimination mechanism to the player whose books are not selling well. Maybe this game it's designed for the skilled player but for my mid-heavy euro taste, this game it's tough to enjoy even I like every bit of design. It was a very tough decision to sell this game, even till today I still think I enjoyed the struggle, but it's just isn't going to bring too much joy to my playgroup...
You showed the game off well.I want this one.It looks like it gives you loads of decision making conundrums.
It really does, Dan, and I love games that put you into those decision making situations! - Jon
Great review! I’m very excited about this one. Can you say something about how well it worked for you with 2p and Ignotus?

I totally get that. Normally, those are all issues for me, too, but this game did not give me the negative vibes. Play what you enjoy, I say! -Dean
I am afraid my wife won't like it either. Because of it being restrictive.
Yea, maybe she will. I'm hoping my wife gives it another try, but we'll see. - Jon
@@MeepleTown why didn't your wife like it?
