Y'know considering Ian's thing about being really into dark, depressing facts, boy band knowledge is something that I don't think anyone could have predicted
considering all boy bands end in misery and are part of the most soul crushingly commercialised part of the entertainment industry I don't think it is that much of a stretch

Being the eldest member of the group really helped him. He's the only one who was alive *and* would've had knowledge of pop culture in the 90s, the height of the boy band era.

Her dad worked for the distribution warehouse for Fred Meyer as like the head manager in Portland, Oregon so he sometimes got things early as a perk of the job... and the BSB's debut US album was one of those early things he got... so my BFF invited me over to her house and played the CD for me and then showed me the album cover and asked me which guy I thought was the cutest....
