How lucky were you Mike V. What a band - what a performance! I think it’s one of the best concerts I’ve seen so I can only imagine what it was like to have been there in person! I have to tear myself away from watching it at times - it makes me so emotional😢. (By the way, the audience also contributed to the enjoyment - cheering at the right time and respectfully remaining quiet when it was called for it, absorbing the talent that was there before them). I’ve not been lucky enough yet to catch Snow Patrol live... but one day…one day…
It's not usually a problem taking cameras in if not too obvious, the front door security are more concerned that you don't bring in drinks. However some stewards in the auditorium ask people to stop filming. If you are in a box and can keep the door shut behind you that's the best.
It's the GH1. Not ideal for concerts as it has a detachable lens which is the yardstick by which professional cameras are judged and usually banned. However they are too polite to search at the Royal Albert Hall and if you have a box it's easy to film unmolested!
