So its a First person Puzzle game similar to Portal?

Yeah, really unique though. Beaten Portal 2, somethings it does better than P2. Atmosphere is awesome, visuals as you can see are really good, I played it on PC with max settings 1080p. Worth the buy.
Its actually better than ok, you'll understand if you play both games.

Couldn't rebind the keyboard buttons on the first one (played it on PC), rendering it unplayable for me since I'm left-handed. Really disappointing, it should be standard to allow rebinding of keys in all games, so I never played it.
@@mvnkycheez I'm also left-handed and i've NEVER had any problem playing ANY game except Kid Icarus: Uprising and Mario Hoops: 3 on 3.
@@skullyisaac it's a pretty damn good puzzle game, so I'd say it's worth it. The one thing that keeps me coming back though is the art direction. It's a treat to look at

Never heard of this series before, but this looks really good. I might have to get into it now that I’ve seen it. Reminds me a bit of portal, but it’s also pretty unique that it’s a “get back home to earth” story in a puzzle game
Don't really get all the portal comparisons. This game plays absolutely nothing like it outside of being an FPS and you could probably call a lot of games portal-like going off that specification.
It does have the "White tiles and science-like chambers paired with platformer puzzle mechanics and robotics" similarities, however.
Oh, and portal 2 had some overgrown, degraded stuff too.
It's not hard to imagine why people compare the visuals to Portal 2.
Oh, and the atmosphere and execution appears to be strikingly similar too.
megasoniczxx it has what seems to be an evil AI complete with glowing eye akin to portal (and 2001 space odyssey), a female protagonist that has no idea where she is or why she is there, puzzle chambers with similar paneling anesthetic to portal 2, the fact that this QUBE 2 and Portal 2 had a similar overgrown puzzle facilities. The main difference is that gameplay seems more like talos principle and the story is more up front rather than subtle.

@@jamsjars9505 True, I didn't really catch the AI stuff and I didn't know about the protagonist being similar since I was watching with the volume off so that's my bad. The gameplay was the main thing I was looking at and while I can see what you mean about the facility being infested by nature, it didn't really strike me as looking like those did because it's much more vibrant than it was in P2.

The first game doesn’t have a plot, so I expect this one would be just fine to start with
You don't need to play the first one. Maybe if you enjoy this one you can try the other one next. They are both unique.
Plays fine as a standalone. It was the first game I got with my Xbox One S I got for Christmas. Was a huge fan of Portal and this is an awesome "spiritual cousin" of sorts.
I've gone back to check out the first one and have only played for about 5 minutes but they are both similar but play slightly differently...both thumbs up!
I was actually able to get one of 4000 physical copies of this game.
It is so worth it.

Great game, neat design. Don't expect AAA production values. But if you like puzzles, this is a must.

Only if they implemented motion controls for the switch Id pay extra for this version, but rather have a mouse to work with otherwise. I wanted to clarify whether if this was the case since I was willing to buy a physical version, but the developers on twitter straight up never gave a response :(

If you're referring to the physical copy, it was only just release in a limited number from Super Rare Games. True they are based outside of the US but you can order it and get it quickly shipped here. If you want a copy, order it soon.

This game is boring I got it for free from Xbox love gold playing for the achievements I say is very fun but playing for no achievements or trophies it’s not worth to play Thank you Xbox for letting people play games for free before buying them
