I just purchased the new version pro with the tracker and would like to know how to set the in and out points where the callout starts and stops in the video clip. The "Animation"" time sliders don't seem to be doing what I want. Sure thank you for any help you might give me. Thanks.
Thank you for your support! You can apply the callout effect to an adjustment clip, which can be used to control when you want to start/stop the callout. Or you can split the clip into sections and apply the callout only on the desired parts. The Animation /Out Time option is used control how long to reveal/hide the callout. You can use Animation Offset to delay the callout, which control "in" point. I will add "Animation Out Offset" to control when to close the callout in next update.
i have downloaded free callout by clicking double click after unzip file it is downloaded in davinci and i can see it in titles and effects but when i move my cursor on callout then it is giving error "unknown tool found, Name - outline color , Id -sChangestyle " so please let me know what to do. i can use this callout in fusion pannel with error(but with so many steps to apply effect) but on edit page it even not let me drop this effect on timline i am using 18 studio version so please help.
I actually donated twice... because the other one has no "Tracker" tab. I was like, where's the tracker feature. So found it in the Effects instead from Titles. But still good. Thanks for this awesome plugin 😁

You’re not the only one experiencing the cursor corruption. It happens to me as well. And I restore it back to normal the same way as you. It definitely appears to be a software bug.

when I drag the Essential Call Out Pro to the clip, it just inserts it into the clip just before the playhead, it doesn't "integrate" into the clip like in your videos. I can't seem to figure out why it does this. I've watched an re-watched your video many times and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thank You!!
There are 2 types of the call out title templates, you might be dragging the "Title" one to the timeline, which is a generator type template and will insert a new clip, to apply the call out to a clip as an effect, you need to drag the template from the "Effects/Essential Effects".
I also don't see the "tracker" window on the main screen and I have to set everything up as before in fusion. Does anyone know what may be causing this?
@@EssentialVideoEditing NO. I'm using the stable version. The tracker does not show up in the main window. You need to enter Fusion. Besides, this version affects the actual image. It's shaking, it's unstable. Moreover, you do not connect MediaIn1, the entire image is based on Call Out. This causes image-related errors and bugs. You then need to enable Merge separately and connect the image from MediaIn1. Make CallOut responsible only for CallOut, not the entire image, because this causes a huge amount of errors.

You can customize the callout title template and save it to a power bin, which you can use as your own preset.
The effect is great but there’s a problem with colors not being correct in a color managed workflow. Is there a solution to this?

Yes, you need to download the update, and install .drfx package to override the previous version.

The tracker is only available in the effect template, the title template is a generator, there is no source for tracking.

If you are using DR 19 Beta, please make sure you downloaded the latest update of this template.
