Interesting fact... or not. Pokemon Go wasn't the first of its kind. Google had a "game" like it called Ingress. That didn't do so well, so they rebranded it with pop culture, and sure enough, people ate it up. The fact that folk still gather around like that is crazy. They even made a new one with the Monster Hunter name on it. It's really just to track location and study up on the populations habits. Yes, they do that with almost everything, but why make it hard when they can just get you to give up information willingly? It's just another form of control.
