Del was simply amazing !! Even into the 80's he could hit those high notes. Such a shame he died so soon and probably brought on by depression and use of Prozac. We will always remember his music and that great voice. RIP Del
The electronic keyboard was called a musitron invented by Max Crook who also co wrote Runaway with Del. It was a modified clavioline which was an analog keyboard. I use the keyboard solo as my phone ringtone and it gets quite a bit of interest by young and old.
