Hello Haley, Thank you so much for this inspired choice in creating 1 hour of gentle piano and calming ambience. As much as I love watching people being creative in their Vlogmas videos on youtube, after awhile they become very similar (we get bogged down in the details of it that we forget the bigger picture). It is also one of the most frantic times of the year. No matter how organised we are, there are things that don't arrive, last minute shopping for the dinner party, so we end up rushing as much as anyone else. I think it happens to us all. I love the idea of finding an oasis of tranquility with a book, savouring peaceful, stress free and contemplative moments before the day of Christmas arrives. Calming music in this video with soft piano solo in slow tempo is a perfect way to wind down when I'm writing my Christmas cards. Thank you so much for making this video with no adverts, no interruptions, no lyrics and no synthesizer music. How sweet and thoughtful gift from you. I just started a re-read of "The bear and the nightingale" by Katherine Arden, so you video came at just the right time! ❤ How do you like "Snow and Rose" so far? I read it in autumn and loved both the story and writing style, as well as the beautiful illustrations.
