I am also not familiar with the song at first but when I google the song with the original artist and compared it with Sofronio Version of the song, I was amazed how he put emotions to it and his voice is just incredible.

Listening the second and third time to be familiar with the song helps to appreciate the song and the performance better. I listened to the original version and some covers, i can say Sof's version brought the song to a new level.
Im glad im not the only one. All his performance was good but I thought something is off the first time I played it. But everytime I rewatched his performance, I dont know but it keeps getting better and better the more I replay it. This happened multiple times in his other performances as well.

Just listen to the music and if the performer connects to you doesn’t matter if it’s in English or foreign language… That’s how music transcends. It evoke emotions, create shared experiences beyond social and cultural boundaries. With its rhythm, melody and harmony, music is universal. Even a rapper like Snoop appreciates music like that. He said, it’s like watching a movie and with Sofronio singing is like the end of a movie.
Tip: You'll be able to appreciate "more" Sofronio's version when you hear first the original version (it's a bit mellow down country type of song). He really "owned" this one. 😉
