I was watching the look in everyone's eyes during this video - so full of awe, wonder and excitement. But the best was watching Heather looking at Gracie as she was watching the animals. So full of love - brought a huge smile to my face and tear to my eye for how beautiful it was.
I went to Bali with my family this summer and I loved being close with the orangutans, with Dara and Gandhi (the mother and baby pair). My wife fed them some grapes which they enjoyed a lot.
Awesome doesn't even say how great this Bali Zoo is! Breakfast with the free-roaming animals, totally amazing! The experiences your children got to enjoy, my oh my, you both are some great parents to them. Unbelievable how sweet, loving, caring, and sweet you both are, and your children are so well behaved, so awesome, I'm sure they too are blessed. Health, happiness, love and joy to you all, stay safe. Just...beautiful!

I remember Ah Meng when she was alive at Singapore Zoo. I went for the breakfast but had no intention of getting close to her for fear that I might give her the flu or something. Sarawak does it properly with a "look but don't get close ( or even make too much noise ) approach". I love the orangutan's almost complete disinterest in humans. Probably sick to death of humans trying to get her to react. Why was she rubbing her arms with the foliage ? I had to laugh when the guy told her to 'watch it'. She could literally tear him limb from limb.
The zoo should put the correct group for the siamang/black gibbon The baby look like pass one year old, which mean like other gibbons, they stay/being take care by the male/father, and not the mother
Hey, have you tried Safari Park in East Java? That place is trully amazing. But i recomend you to rent a car from Surabaya for better experience. You and the kids will have an undescribing experience ever. 'walking around' in the middle of lions, tigers, rhinos, crocs and many wild beasts. But do not open your car windows untill you're in save place or in the herbivore area for your savety.
Compared to Twycross Zoo in the UK where you cant see the animals. All behind dirty glass covered in condensation and very poor lighting. If you want to see some exotic animals there, you best bring some with you!
