It is unchartered territory because a state leader like Bb has never been charged, even when they merit it. Signatories to the ICC in this case are in the right, specially considering that Israel's actions and that of the Hamas terrorists create consequences and unfair circumstances for nations beyond those involved in this conflict, which then have to absorb the costs of those consequences. For the Republicans and the Republicans Lite parties to back Israel in this it is totally disgusting. The Israel-first agenda needs to be booed off-stage and off the American general election ballot.

There is no comparison between Israel and Hamas because Israel is the occupier and Palestine is the occupied. Occupied people have a right to resist including armed resistance. Occupiers have no right to wage war
I am a victim of propaganda but even I know that to be the reality. These people were just living in their land for centuries when another group of people just violently came in and colonized them. What about that should they be content and relaxed about? What about that demands their acquiescence or submission? What about that is ok in the modern world. What if I told the the colonists were refugees from a land that forcefully took their things? The abused become abusers. This is a sad reality of humanity. That said, we still have to condemn abuse when it happens.
The Palestinians have had numerous opportunities to make paece and compromise. This is not a territorial dispute. Hamas and PLO do not want a compromise and are willing to extend the conflict ad infinitum.

Just sayin', you have been on the wrong side of this issue since the invasion of Gaza happened.
She is well aware of that. She mentioned that tongue in cheek because that is often stated and used by many as another way to deflect from Israel's war crimes and to provide cover for them.

Apparently, the ICC classifies Palestine as a State for the purposes of jurisdiction. Therefore, it has authority as a court with regard to Palestine and its people.

The issue is not whether the individuals ordering violence are equivalent, but whether the deadly deeds committed as a result of these orders are equivalent under international law.
ICC is independent and can choose to recognize Palestine as a state. ICC does not try people in absentia. So 17:40 if the leader is convicted, he is also in custody in a cell.
