    solid vid. appreciate your honest perspective. one thing, cause I think you have a long life ahead of you, possibly use rear wheel chocks to reduce the risk of car rolling back and.....sorry if they are there and I just missed them 👍

    Once again another great video sir! I went Mishimoto myself, I’m happy with them.

      Thanks! Yes that is a good product. I don't believe the hype train, but it is a nice set of pipes.

      Coming from the Srt4 world where hard pipes did help,I wasn’t sure I do think they help with flow. It’s not always about one individual part, it’s what works well together. My 2 cents anyway lol

      @@jaym2569 Yeah like I said in the video, I could be wrong. Each platform has its strengths and weaknesses that may differ from that of another platform.

      Thanks Nicolas! My friend Daniel is pretty busy and hard to get a hold of, plus his car changes and improves so often it's hard to keep track of. Next time we hang out I'll see about shooting some footage of his build update. Though he was talking about making his own channel so maybe that will happen, he has a great build that would lend to some great video content.

    I went with the Mishimoto version of the Induction Hose Kit as it was on sale and I didn't have to deal with evap hose on my 2016. Call me disappointed, as my butt dyno didn't feel any difference. Maybe it makes more of a difference on Stage 2, but at the time I was on stage 1. The money I spent would've been better spent on a custom tune.

      *No, all Fiesta's in North America are 4 door.*

    I just pulled the trigger on the Whoosh V3 intercooler from Ron Miller which is not available yet but ordered the boost hose kit. I see you are a fan of "double clamping" your pipes which makes sense but what do you think of the regular hose clamps that you can order with the kit? A lot of folks on the forums say that the OEM clamps are the best vs the standard hose clamps which can easily break when tightened too much. What was your experience?

      Hi Jim! Nice purchase! I've noticed the OEM ones are slightly better quality than the ones that came with the kit. Having said that, I used both (one of each) on the hot side pipe and haven't had an issues at all even with all my extra power. the main one that blows off is the hot side (passenger side) so make sure you double clamp that. I've also heard of the one going into the turbo coming off but that's much more rare.

    I got him to make the charge pipes in Purple :) Saw them in a pic of the intake pipes he was making and had to have purple. Love beating cars and with purple pipes they just feel that much worse.

    did this change the sound since youre deleting that muffler part in the charge pipe?

    • @gray25xt
      @gray25xt  2 года назад +1

      It barely changed. Nothing you'll notice after 2 minutes of driving.

    Does your 6point get in the way while working on it?

    • @gray25xt
      @gray25xt  5 лет назад +1

      No 6 point has not been in the way or caused any issues. Sure you have to work around it a bit but nothing difficult. I have heard of them interfering with other setups but I made sure it would not be an issue before I purchased.
