It's not a featuring and it is not written anywhere there either. It's a collaboration 50/50. That's why instead of featuring there is an X. Even if the song sounds 100% like EC, was probably also written by EC, the video was made by EC, the girls actually only had to sing, dance and have fun and the song did not appear on the EC youtube channel but only on the channel of BM. EC's youtube channel, so it doesn't generate a cent of it. Definitely 50/50.
I hope it pays off for EC and the Japanese think the band is great, then they have opened up another market for themselves
They obviously share the revenue between BM & EC, also it was stated that they co wrote the lyrics and music. Babymetal tend to heavily incorporate styles and sounds from other genres, and often play homage to other artists.
So with that in mind it's clear they are leaning towards Electric Callboy for this particular track, while still having their uniqueness prominently on display, in audio and visuals.
If you watch one of Babymetal's earliest songs called "iine" you will see multiple visuals, audio ideas and vibes carried into the Ratatata music and video, weather that's by design or coincidence only BM & EC know that.

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛。I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 (Japan time) . Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. EC boys can join BM concerts and BM girls can show up in EC's worldwide 😍
Is it just a coincidence that the two bands are to perform on the same day in the same place at Rock AM Ring in EC's homeland?
(Just FYI, BABYMETAL also performed "Brand New Day" with Scott and Tim from POLYPHIA in the festival. That was amazing, too.)
