I’ve literally just bought a 256gb XS for around $300. The best looking iPhone I’ve ever owned. Perfect size too. Spending $1000 on a phone is unbelievable. I always stay 2-3 years behind the latest version. I look forward to getting my iPhone 13 in 2024.

Very similar phones that have nearly the same battery and camera, superior to the XS’s. Upside of the 12 Pro is the design (slightly bigger screen w/similar size), squared design, 5G and better camera. Upside of the 11 Pro; price. Upside of the XS; most affordable of the bunch, but keep in consideration that the battery isn’t the best.

If you’re gonna upgrade just jump straight to the 12 Pro instead. No reason to take a poll with a standard 12, unless you plan on keeping it. I recently upgraded from a XS Max to a 12 Pro Max and there are quite a few differences. Bigger, thinner bezels, a WAY better battery and camera and feel in the hand because of the squared design. As to speed and fluidity, you won’t notice that big of a difference. Ram management is clearly better as well, as apps happen to stay open as opposed to the XS’s. I upgraded just for the improved battery and camera.

I had a XS but “Carrier up date failed” starting popping up & the phone was useless had to upgrade to 12, really miss the smaller screen. I was going to get the mini but battery life was my main concern
iPhone 12 is the better phone, but it is really not by much… but the batteri is much better on iPhone 12 to be honest and it is a tiny bit faster, not much at all but faster. It is not worth the upgrade. I have the iPhone 12 and i love it, the only thing that made me upgrade was batteri life, one charge is enough for a hole day, when i had the iPhone XS i had to charge it 3-4 hours before bedtime. So there is that.

I just got a xs waiting for it to come in. I'm using an s8 making the switch. My plan is to upgrade to the 13 when it comes out.
So the eBay person sent me a phone listed as great condition but wasn’t so I returned it and got an 11 and I’m very happy!

That’s a personal preference. I believe the 12’s squared design and thinner bezels are nicer, especially the Pros with their matte finish.

The speed of the 12 is due to the A14 chip all is same and slightly bigger apple doesn't change anything in their fones

Yeah, I always had issues with wifi and 4g with my old XS Max. Loved the phone, but I now have a 12 Pro Max and those problems are non existent.
