Love ya, man! Good video. Exactly the tips I needed to hear. I am 1-25 :( in our league and I know about some of these things but it's nice to hear them reinforced and as if I can avoid tunnel vision and predetermined routes I might start winning some games. But man I suck right now!
Its funny you mention dre archer cause in my franchise (I use the Redskins) i have dri archer. Hes my third string running balck behind, #2 Darren McFadden, and my starter Tre Mason) well when i signed him he had a rating of like 62. He was terribke. But my god was he fast. So tre geta hurt in nfc championshop and i decided to play archer instead and he ran for 200 + yard and 2 touchdown. I first put in on a counter.. He broke his first ever 50 yard run. Hes amazing. Simply amazing.
From Top Gun QB Academy: Once the quarterback receives the snap from center he shouldn’t even be looking at his receivers because he should know where they will be when it’s time to throw the football. The quarterback’s main concern is “where are the defenders and where are they going?” His eyes are downfield watching their drops and coverage areas. It’s important to note that he is not thinking “its cover three”, or “its quarters”; he is reacting to what he sees in front of him in relation to the progression of the passing concept. As the quarterback nears the top of his drop his eyes go to the target area and when his back foot hits the ground, he has already started his throw-motion and then allows himself to react to what he sees. That means the football is coming out unless there is a reason not to make the throw. This is very different from the way quarterbacks used to be trained when it came to reading defenses. In the old days, the quarterback was told to confirm the receiver was open before he threw the football, but if you do that today you’ll only get to the 1st receiver in the progression and by time the ball gets to him, the DB will most likely be right there to make the tackle, knock the ball down or worse yet, intercept the pass. Today’s quarterback drops back intending to make a certain throw and even starts his throw- motion not knowing for sure his target will be open, and it turns out this works much better. The football comes out faster and it’s far easier for a quarterback to start his throw-motion in rhythm and stop it (if needed), than it is to wait on the receiver and then try to get the football there before the defense closes in on the receiver. NFL quarterbacks are doing this routinely in games and practices but it happens so fast and they make it look so easy that we don’t notice it at all unless it’s pointed out to us.
This is why it's important to know the button icons for the WR's in your progression. "Not locking in on a WR" is what the article calls "verifying if a WR is open." To avoid this, look at the area the WR's route will take him, trust what you see, and move on to the next WR in your progression. Since we cannot start our throwing motion (it is a video game lol), we can have our finger prepared to press the button icon for the WR's in our sequential progression. I hope this helps, at least one person.
i'm can't complete 1 of the challanges on the line its redskins v's colts it's 20-30 colts with 3.00 left once colts are on the offence and its down to 2.00 warning how do i stop the clock speeding down so i have more time on the clock to win with skins???😎😎😎
Btw #3 is want Marion Barber use to do in real life, preserve his energy then when a defender would go for a tackle he would put the boost in and go past them
@@sportsgamersonline you're welcome👍 I know you can't help it and I didn't want to bring you down. Just wanted to let you know. BTW, my own voice also doesn't sound so great.

Solid tips. Some are hard to follow like you said just have to be mindful
Loved the WU Tang intro! This video had me chuckling because I do all these bad habits at least once every game. Good video.
Glad you enjoyed it, be sure to sub and checkout our other content on the channel.
Great tip
What buttons do you use in the pocket, RS or LS and do you strafe while moving around in the pocket???

+dsk1317 That's a really good one.
#3 is probably the best tip in this video; its a real game changer
Glad it helped you. Working on the defensive version of this video now.
I'd love to add from experience, if your taking pressure and a reads not there throw the ball away.
Good tips. I need to stop throwing up so many 50/50 lobs. I'm basically just throwing it up for grabs when I do that
Yeah unless it's a major mismatch of a top WR vs a weak corner I don't even through jump balls much anymore.
How do I stop cb blitzing

I always get intercepted, any tips?
