its beautiful to hear how he loved his game, but how he tried to please others. He should just stick to his identity and be the best Cooper we all know.
Great interview gents! So interesting to hear Quad's thoughts and insights, another player that got way too much criticism and very little guidance or acceptance of his own talents and abilities and a mindset to use that or build a game around that. Completely agree and feel sorry for Manie as well, his URC record is exceptional and what a world cup, played in all the games at the highest level baring 1 match, opens up the whole backline when he's there and his kicking out of hand is so strategic. Sasha definitely deserves game time at flyhallf for experience because the depth we can build there with Manie as well would be amazing, but I feel a lot of the media and fan criticism of Manie is inflated and not measured enough with what he's capable of (media and fan's have short memories) , especially in light of where Handre falls short as he has definite attacking deficiencies and his tactical kicking out of hand is poor, he has a very bad exit from 22m and goal line dropouts are poor (i.e Ireland 2nd test). We need both Manie and Sasha and you never win a championship or a world cup with only 1 answer at flyhallf, each will flourish and both need to be managed. Personally I feel Manie at flyhallf and Sasha at fullback would be devastating, solves the kicking problem as well while having two tactical kicking players and counter attack players on the field, not to mention Willie and Willemse waiting for game time, an enviable position to be in for sure. Nothing better than being an SA supporter at the moment. Much loves gents
Quade Ma Fckn Copper. What a legend. Loved watching this enigma play. He seems like such a jimbo 😂. Danko for the show gents.
