You can use medkits. You just have to manually drag it to an injured character's picture. They just haven't automated treatment.

@@Bartoszek22 You are right. I saw there was an update from the demo they released about a year ago and got over excited. I don't think they have announced a release date yet
Brother this is super early access so many bugs and shit going on many things locked behind stupid quests that take long if you just dont get certain ress so it will be a long time before it will be ready for release but can be quite good at that
ive been keeping my eye on this for ages, it looks really interesting. I was going to use my home town, but i dont think i could tell the difference between the locals and zombies

I'm actually really surprised of how accurate the City is to the real one, actually accounting for the walls and the layout. I wonder if they used satellite imagery to generate the map automatically. That would explain how they can have this massive amount of real-life locations
They use actual maps from OpenStreetMaps
yep I think they even wrote about it on the steam page or there own page how they used satellite and other map tools to generate the map for the game.
that said I do wonder if the 200 story building is still there (Microsoft flight sim relesed last year maybe had a "bug" where a random building in the US was like 200 floors tall because some paperwork was wrong making a 2 floor building 200 floor and microsoft flight sim just went a 200 floor building out in noware the size of a regular house no problem).
(not sure if any player not paying attension have crashed into it yet).
iirc, they let you choose any spot on the world, it then uses data to generate a map for that spot, so you could play the game in your home town.

There's also a version of Googlemaps that makes buildings more 3d. So it would be easier to build a map of a city that way.
Very nice touch using actual map data for the police stations, food stores and libraries, but finding automatic weapons in random houses in Italy is quite strange...Also, it's hilarious when at 44:25 you are looking for scientific books in an elementary school 😂
acrtually if its post collapse not really some italian guy picked it up from a dead army guy went home then died or got turned you go in there kill the zombozo and boom free ak 104 or m16 (idk what gun italy uses) and if its actually automatic that would beh ard to find anywhere as the military doesnt issue automatics much in any country
Yeah, it would even be somewhat strange in the US to find many automatic weapons unless you raided a police station or national guard armory, or perhaps the home of someone wealthy who was into shooting sports and/or marksmanship. Owning automatic weapons requires a license and a tax stamp if your state even allows it, and can be a rather expensive and involved process to complete. You would find a metric shit ton of semi-automatic AR platform rifles, shotguns, handguns, bows, crossbows, long bladed weapons, blunt weapons like baseball bats, the occasional semi-automatic AK platform rifle, and long range tactical or hunting weapons (i.e. sniper rifles and brush rifles) behind every rock, tree, and blade of grass, however. It would be downright unbalanced if you found a realistic amount of guns and ammo in the US, especially in less populous states.
It's quite a refreshing sight seeing you play something new! Loved banished, go back to it periodically. Would love to see you tackle frostpunk 2 when it comes out. Or a full playthrough of Gord.
I think this is less of a zombie apocalypse but more like a vampire apocalypse, which I don't know but it kinda feels refreshing to me
After the vietnam war, papa bear inspired his son to become a dispatcher but his career was cut short when the zombie apocalypse made hin the leader of the survivors
I just hope, that their map editor will give us much more options than only slightly editing buildings or streets. It would be so cool to create our own mini cities from scratch in remote areas like Siberia, Sahara.
I am SO looking forward to the full release of this! Not only to try out where I live but also epic Zombie movie locations like NYC. I also want to try areas near old fortifications like castles in the UK and Europe or Japan.

Next time you start a new save chose a man made island next to a big city with bridge's being the only way off it, it will be the easiest base setup to defend.

I've notice that the driver of the car never uses ammo, maybe they don't shoot their gun while behind the wheel?
you could give the rifle to the other passenger if thats the case to maximize damage output while in a car.

I'm a bit confused. Why would your workers need several trees worth of wood to convert a house... into a house. Like people being able to live there is kind of the point of the whole affair.

can you survive 100 days? its more of a question whether you actually want to survive for 100 days cause that game is boring as hell
try the free prologue by yourself, there is a chance you will change your mind :) I did anyway
You can pick any of the locations but u pick the exact location Raptor did, hmmmmmm seems fishy to me, are you sure the locations are as many as you say?

First I was like: what is this...? But its actually intresting, and I'd like to see how and what Skye comes up with a grandiose plan!
This is going to be a very interesting playthrough, because the chosen location is actually a place I've been to!
There's an amusement park close by called Gardaland - because of the Garda lake - which I actually visited twice!
The map doesn't reach that far, so it's probably not included in the game, but still, having an amusement park with rollercoasters as a base would be an amusing concept.

😂😂. It is super detailed, on the 2:00 where there is the building with the gun symbol it is actually a police station in real life, they train the carabinieri there and it’s the command center for the lake area.

As long as your squads are in a building at night they will be fine fighting any zombies
Imagine zombies walking through the sea floor collecting mollusk as they go for extra defense and how dark it's down there will let them not have to go to building.
