Coming to life in the winter before the pandemic, a group of well-known and respected authors and songwriters gathered as a community to write and share songs. Their work came to be known as FAITHFUL: songs and stories of God’s kindness to women throughout history and here with us today. New album FAITHFUL: Go And Speak shares songs from many of today’s renowned artists, songwriters, and authors; each song on this special thematic album featuring a woman telling the story of God's faithfulness throughout Scripture to the present day. This collaboration between artists and authors has led to a collection of poetry and resonance through song. Artists involved on the album are Amy Grant, Ellie Holcomb, Ann Voskamp, Sarah Macintosh, Sandra McCracken, Ginny Owens, Leslie Jordan, Christy Nockels, Rachael Lampa, Kelly Minter, Savannah Locke, Sarah Kroger, Christa Wells, Tamar Chipp, Jess Ray, Janice Gaines, Trilla Newbell, and Taylor Leonhardt.
The FAITHFUL book is an eclectic collection of written stories, lyrics, photos, and art created and curated by some of today's most distinguished and thoughtful Christian artists and authors. Amanda Bible Williams, Ann Voskamp, Ginny Owens, Kelly Minter, Kelly Needham, Lisa Harper, Raechel Myers, Ruth Chou Simons, Sally Lloyd-Jones, Sarah Macintosh, Savannah Locke, and Trillia Newbell, with an introduction by Amy Grant, gathered to create this keepsake book that celebrates God and the enduring legacy of women in the Bible.

    Lyrics
    I could never speak it
But I didn’t quit when they called me “heretic”
They said I was too dangerous
So, I stood with all the women at a distance
But once my name crossed His lips
    How could I keep quiet?
He is not ashamed to be
    Seen with me beside Him
    I have seen the Lord
    I will speak of Him
And nobody could talk me out of it
    I have seen the Lord
    And my Lord’s seen me
Oh, He said my name and told me
“Go and speak of what you see”
How could I not speak it
That You didn’t quit when they called You “heretic”?
They said it was too scandalous
For You to come so close to me
    But You still did it
And once my name crossed His lips
    How could I keep silent?
He is not ashamed to be
    Seen with me beside Him
    I have seen the Lord
    I will speak of Him
And nobody could talk me out of it
    I have seen the Lord
    And my Lord’s seen me
Oh, He said my name and told me
“Go and speak of what you see”
I will run and tell the story
Oh, the Word did not stay buried
    But it is alive!
    Spirit setting tongues on fire!
Oh, the heavens singing “Glory, Glory, Glory!”
    Trees are clapping, clapping, clapping!
    Rocks are shouting, shouting, shouting!
And then there’s me, a woman
And I will speak of what I’ve seen
I will speak of what I’ve seen
Go and speak of what you’ve seen
Go and speak of what you’ve seen
    Go and speak

I absolutely love this song and have been so touched by it so many times. But what does "I could never speak it" mean? It seems like she says I could never speak it but I didn't quit speaking it when they called me heretic - which is contradictory...would love to understand this. Any ideas?

A beautiful song. Why were you called a heretic? I know why I am. In the middle of the recent 3 year storm, just the beginning really of what is to come, you came together in a time when the world forbade it to create a song of beauty. That was heretical to the world. I was a heretic for coming to the truth in Jesus' word that it is the standard to which I stand on his Rock, his teachings which were diabolically opposed to the god of the OT. Therefore, I am a heretic for coming to the truth, the knowledge that Yahweh, the LORD God, or Jehovah is none other than Satan. Moses says as much in Deuteronomy 32 that Jehovah shall be ascribed as God. Why would I, Ron ascribe my name to be God if I was God? I of course am not God, nonetheless Jehovah masquerades himself as the Living Almighty God. The blasphemy and heresy that Jesus was accused of & taught was that the god of Israel was in fact the devil and they were children of him. He spoke truth to which they vehemently crucified him for. I dare anyone to oppose the holy Church that they have likewise taught the same lie for I was a partaker myself in that lie for nearly 40 years. The unholy plague of the last 2 1/2 years woke me out of my slumber when I was closed out of my church because it has no power as it gave the beast all of it as spoken of in Revelation and Daniel. Jesus said in Rev. come up out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and you receive not her plagues. Jesus desires mercy not sacrifice. Sounds much different than the god of the OT, which demanded blood sacrifice.

“And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. We love each other because he loved us first. If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.”
      ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4:13-21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I threw in the garbage what I had of amy grant after I heard the blasphemous views she expressed on a country station interview by a homosexual host.
