Join the team and receive a complete Ammonite, and more. Can’t keep making these videos unless I can get 10-20 patrons that pay and aren’t there for a free ride.

When working in midland Texas in 2012 we were remediating recirculation pits from new wells they drilled. We had to deep bury them usually 15-20 feet deep and in one hole it was sandstone and when we broke out a chunk there was an ammonite in it that was over 4 feet in diameter and it was to heavy and bulky to fit into a truck or it would be at my house…. Congrats well done with the rd4 those are some great pieces thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼

When I was working in the Fort Worth/Saginaw area in 2010 I drove by a house that had 6-8 of these on the front porch. Just as big if not bigger.
I found a piece of one about 8-10” when I was a teenager in the 70’s on a ranch in Tilden. At the time I thought it was a fossilized horn. Never heard of ammonite back then.

Well hello & thank you. I've had a couple chunks of those for years but didn't have any idea what they were. All I knew was they were neat fossils so kept them. Then tonight, I found your video & NOW I know. lol I'm also in TX as well but I'm in the heart of it. I used to hunt heart rocks with my grandson, now 21yrs of age but we'd also collect anything else that caught our eyes. I have several very interesting stones & still don't know what they are. I'm hoping things will settle down in my life so I can get outdoors again & do what you're doing. Just explore & see what I find.

Holy cow! Never in my long life have ever seen one that big! Seen a couple of kids hunt them of the coast somewhere in England, but they are babies, compared to these!
Are there any laws in place that says they belong to the government? Like over in England and other places?
One day soon , would love take a ride over to that creek and see what is there. (Very, long drive!)
    So happy I found you!
