I saw this documentary. I think they came to the conclusion that it could have been a devastating earthquake/tsunami off the island of Santorini as they have found archaeological proof under the sea.

she’s talking about the Minoan Civilisation. Plus, Doggerland was flooded 3,000 years before the invention of the written word, so it’s unlikely Plato or anyone else from his time had any reason to know about its existence
