5 for 5: Dark Sky Hustlers

In celebration of our 5 year anniversary, we are honored to present The Dark Sky Hustlers!
The band was formed the day Christian DeMarco and Pedro Mila met busking on the NYC streets. Through playing many popular covers in an instrumental street funk fashion, they honed their skills together while writing their tunes incorporating them into their busking sets. Saxophonist Tim Cervera played in other busking ensembles with Christian and joined the Dark Sky duo performing together often in Central Park. Bassist Henoc Montes joined the group from meeting the members in jam sessions in the city and adds an amazing flavor of soul, funk and jazz. This performance showcases three of their original tunes (Vilify, Mr. Midtown East and Raven Locks) off their upcoming EP as well as a couple of fun jams ( Call For All Demons and Fly Like An Eagle) which are close to the hearts of all the band members.
