Great build. You kept ad much LJ as possible while building a solid trail rig. Thank you for not cutting it to bits and back halfing it. This is pretty much a master class on how to build one of these.
Thank you! We really tried to maximize the capability of the Lj without too much “heavy” modifications. Frame is untouched (minus suspension work), we didn’t stretch it, and we didn’t cut the hood. Did our best to maintain all of the original dimensions of the body and keep it looking like an LJ. 👍🏻
Just starting to tear down my 05 LJ. This build spec is really close to where I am going. Except GM 5.3. I was iffy on 40s, I think your vids on this build convinced me to stay on 37s, thanks! Also thanks for all the vendors, that's going to be a huge help as I've been in JK land since 08. Beautiful Jeep, glad to see family's involved!! Cheers.
Wow, your dad’s Jeep when stock looks identical to what’s in my garage right now. I thought maybe you guys stole mine for a second there. Super clean from start to finish. Nice build guys!
How did this setup do on the pavement? Or did this rig get trailered out to the site? This is such a clean build, I just want to have the middle ground of capable off-road and predictable handling on-road to be able to drive my LJ to all of the great off-road spots.
Sick build! I’m putting 37’s on my LJR auto soon, but am unsure what gears to choose. Is this LJ an auto as well? If so, how does your dad like the 5.13’s?
Factory gas tank with the Savvy Offroad aluminum gas tank skid. Built it in roughly 6 weeks. We did do bedliner on the interior of the tub and then put the carpet back on top
How big is thd factory gas tank for LJ. And plan on going for a bigger gas tank or just stick with what you got? Also how much of a lift do yall have on the LJ?
I would disagree. We payed homage to the originality of the LJ and avoided stretching the rear axle and Cutting the hood. I feel we maximized the capability of the platform without sacrificing the original dimensions and condition of the body. However, this approach is certainly not for everyone. 👍🏻

I don’t even have a jeep tj/lj, but I wanna buy one just because of this build.
We love working with you on these builds. Another solid Jeep build.
Thanks guys!! 👊🏻
Reminds me of that genright silver surfer lj, looks really nice
LJ looks to be an excellent build. Inspiration for building my 06 LJ.

As an owner of a Silver TJ Rubicon I love the LJ build. Very jealous!

🔥🔥🔥
What size gas tank do you have on the LJ? Also about how long did it take yall to build that jeep? And yall got bedliner in the jeep ?

@@joshnasche5495 we netted about a 3.5” lift. The factory gas tank is 19 Gallons. We plan to just run it as is 👍🏻
Since my back surgery and this pandemic it’s been difficult for me to get a job and continue the build of my broken down LJ
What color is that cage? Also is it powder coat or paint?
Lower the volume on the music please!
You ruined a classic, beautiful LJ and made it to look like just another Jeep buggy. 🙄🙄🙄

Amazing build!
Thanks for following along! 🤙🏻
