Grux, Serath, and Shinbi all go into the same "BS" bucket for me. Each for different reasons, sure, but they're all in there together. Would love to see more heroes lane into Grux and Shinbi. For me, it'd be Zarus and Kwang. You rock, Joe Boy! Tyvm for the content!
gg joe, good video as always I am the murdock on your team at 17:30 and I literally saved the clip of myself because I played it so poorly. I focused the wraith instead of the grux but you are right, I should have went for the grux first and we would've easily won that fight
Honestly I think the landing phase is my favorite part of the game. It’s so fun to just mainly focus on one person. Damage trading is so rewarding when you take a favorable trade.
Hi new here. How did you set up your build that way? Im trying to buy right items for build but it just seems to alsways show me other options and it kinda kills what i try to go for
There is a search bar where you can type in the name of the item you want! Also, you can go to “All Items” in the shop tab and it will show you all items in the game. Then, you can click on the icons at the top (crossbow for Carry, fist for Bruiser, etc) to further sort them.
Hey, love your content. Do you feel like greystone ult is uh... Overpowered? I feel like letting you get more health for consequence seems like bad game design. What do you think?
I wouldn't say it is overpowered, as there is counter play to what you can do to Greystone ultimate, such as stunning/silence him to defeat him before he can cast his ultimate. Also note that healing amount increases on how low the Greystone health is, so ulting early with Grey doesn't give heal him much
For people struggling against Grux in lane (Since he is heavy in rotation right now), I found Zarus to be a good counter to pretty much the entire Grux kit.
Would be really cool to have an example on how to do sevarog vs grux. Its my main offlaner and i struggle on him against any aggressive pick. They just dont let me farm and sev is done in that situation.
Yes, they just took away 5 armor. Which isn't too big of a deal. It's still arguably the best tank item you can build due to the damage over time being unaffected.
Not sure what I'm missing from my Greystone games. I think he's the best offlaner when he's in lane but terrible for ganks. Feels like I never get any kills with him.
You’re probably doing okay - Grey’s job is usually to just get tanky and be unkillable. Even Joey here doesn’t get a ton of kills, and you don’t really need to as long as you’re helping in team fights and generally winning your lane with towers/farm.
I mentioned toward the end of this game I believe where I said I was going to put the normal/best build in the description. This game, I was trying to semi cook and test items
Grux is the reason I'm not going to play this game anymore. He is stupid, unbalanced and I see that they do nothing with him, therefore I prefer not to play the game until they change him.
I feel you on that sentiment. Honestly I'd just want a small hit to his passive, but I'm not very good so idk what my opinion is worth. Judging by this vid though, I'm not aggressive enough and my opponent grux's get way too much time on the wave. I know I'm going to feed while practicing aggression, but I guess it's gotta be done. What would you do different if you kept playing?

I used to feel that way till I got used to just stunning him out, if they ult wrong, they will get punished hard

Do you still build basilisk if you see the enemy team not building armor?
Yes as it is still a very strong item synergy and powerful damage item

It needs another nerf or a change to how it functions, in my view, so I think yes. Free consistent magic damage is just too strong.
