Nice video. The adapter is great for mixing manufacturers products. I hunt the reefs with a Gatku slip tip. Upon finding Lion fish I'd swim back to the boat and get the paralizer. The last time I was on a current dive (no boat) I had only one chance at the biggest Lion fish I ever saw. (Aprox 12"-16"?) I pulled the slip tip off, and used the injector rod to spear the fish. As long as I swam forward or held the spear pointing up out of the water the lion fish could not get off. I was even able to fling the fish off the spear on to the shore. The only way I could see that technique going wrong is if the fish ripped in half and fell on you! They may taste good, but if a Lion fish falls on you, you would likely never do such foolishness again.
What is the most common thread setup? 6mm with 24 threads per inch? Thanks for the video! edit: Are both sides of the adapter with 24 threads per inch?
I actually bought it off ebay. I wasn't able to find it in stores. I'll leave the link below. www.ebay.com/itm/Adapter-3-8-24-Male-by-6mm-1-Male-Spear-Tip-Polespear-Stainless-1-2-stock-/264531126296?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0
It doesn’t appear that the link I provided is working anymore, must have been permanently out of stock. All you need is a 6mm male 3/8” male adapter. The 6mm threads into most or all paralyzer style tips and the 3/8” threads into the pole. Just make sure it’s a 24 thread pattern.

Yes the most common is the 24 threads. I have a jbl, gatku, and neritic which all use that 24 threads.
@@divesoflo Thank You Very Much!
