how old is your machine? the new foam looks great. My Z10 seems sputter when the milk container is 75% emply, which is weird, it might be because the remaining milk has aged just enough to spit. with a fresh container of milk it foams as new again.
My Three Solutions, without replacing the nozzle. #1 ~ Only Lite/2% Fat Milk Only…..#2 ~ Shorter Milk Pipe…,#3 ~ Remove the Foamer Device, as noted here, I Boosted a piece of Split Silicone Tube behind the Milk Input, where the Milk Tube Inserts , the Cover will Go On With Ease, that worked for a Year. NOW, I am after all these, back to the Dreaded Sputter…!😢 Going to Soak the Foamer to possible remove build-ups.
I ordered the new valve you recommended and when i installed it, the Milk still sputters but the Milk foam works fine. Any idea why Foam would work and Milk will not?
@@PartsGuruUSA Thanks for the reply. I am usung 2% regular cow's milk(Farlife) and the milk foam works fine. It is when it goes to produce steamed milk when it sputters. I just replace the frowther valve piece. Any other ideas? I am going to clean out all the parts again with Pura and maybe try another type of milk. Any suggesstions would be appreceaited.
Part number is 11200. You may order using the link below. Before you order, clean the existing milk system, hose and steam nozzle thoroughly. There is a good chance deep cleaning will help fix milk sputtering issue without replacing the foam nozzle. shopjuraparts.com/products/jura-milk-foam-nozzle-z6-pep-z8-z10
Applies to Z10 as well. Consider cleaning the milk spout and soak in hot water for 10-15 minutes prior to ordering. Replacing the nozzle does not guarantee fixing milk sputtering
Right off the bat, What is your problem there, Whole Milk is a Bad Thing for these Machines, high fat content really congeals/blocks the steamer, as it’s just too full of milk fat. Although this has cured my problems for years, and another solution I had, bolstering input with a piece of silicone tube, now it looks like yours there after all my “Tricks” prove unsuccessful….😢

Use whole or skim milk. Plant based milk won't foam properly due to texture

What about hot milk, I have hsf several Z6 that makes fine foam, but have problem sputtering all over the place with hot milk....
It should not sputter whether you press hot milk or milk foam.
