    Thanks for doing this better than a Haynes manual and easier to follow. I have a 2004 mini one - question if anyone knows. Should it have a steering pump fan?

    Great Video Super Helpful. QUESTION- Can you clarify if it is (necessary) to replace the Valve Cover bolts at all? Seems there is a lot of info on Mini blogs suggesting that (they should "always" be replaced). But i haven't seen any videos yet where folks are actually replacing them (except when they really rusted). Mine are in good visual appearance. I appreciate you feedback.

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  4 года назад

      FrankCity City on some models the bolts are made of aluminum and they require replacement if it’s steel you can reuse them.

      @@HowtoAutomotive Awesome "Thank you" so much for clarifying". That was super helpful. Wish some of the info on this specific subject (particularly) on Mini blogs, was as clear as you laid it out. Much appreciated.

    • @HowtoAutomotive
      @HowtoAutomotive  2 года назад

      You don’t need to drain the oil. But it is a good idea to change the world afterwards.
