I love canoe's and i carry them very often, case makes really lovely ones. The Tony Bose designed knives are absolutely high quality. Case puts the most beautyfull bone on their knives. Thank you for showing the Case collection Stephen.
Wonderful collection! As far as traditional knives go, Case is my favorite brand to collect and carry. I really like that blue mini trapper you've got there. That chestnut stockman is a real looker as well! Cheers, buddy!
Steve I own 2 case knives a peanut in white bone and a canoe in real stag horn I heard bad rep about case but guess I'm lucky mine are great np with mine both are cv steel too you sure has impressive collection much obliged for sharing 🍀🇬🇧👍🐾🦊
Beautiful collection! Love the script shield on the Canoe. The first Case knife I ever purchased was a Russlock with the Script shield and Cranberry bone. That was 22 years ago and I still carry it
Based on the tang stamp I think that second Sowbelly that you showed was made in 2001. I have 26 Case knives including 2 vintage ones that belonged to my grandfather. With only a couple of exceptions, I have always been pleased with the fit and finish.
I meant to add that I have 2 Tony Bose designs (but not the actual customs) and they are really top notch. Of course he died a couple of years ago so sadly there won't be any more of those coming out
Fantastic Paddy had a shocker last month bought a case Sodbuster amber stag bone from a well known distributor in the uk to replace a lost one from years ago the gaps were f&f was terrible but sent it back as had horrendous blade wobble which I couldn’t overlook keep up the great content 👍
Nice Case collection. From what I can see on the blade of the old Case, it's a pre 1970 one and has the numbers for a Jigged bone (6) 2 blade (2) canoe (131). That probably was a spear point at one time. The person who owned it did a good job with that Wharncliffe shape. I'm no Case knives expert. All the ones I have were either given to me, or I bought new online from a reputable store. I have no complaints with mine.
I have one coming today and it will make 91 Case Knives The only one I have with the lovely Silver Script Shield is a Red Jig Bone Doctor that my daughter in law won for me in an auction for Father’s Day Like you I collect all the different Patterns but occasionally I get a Custom Sheath so then I’ll collect a Series of Knives that fits the sheath Right now I’m collecting Sodbuster Jrs to fit the lovely sheath I bought from GA Adventurer which BtW also fits single blade Barlows such as the Boker Copper and the Case Sawcut I love that Swayback of yours and I have two of that Pattern That Razor is sweet I have a bunch of Medium Stockman knives with Spay Pen and Punch blades I love them all Love the Sycamore Copperhead The Sycamore I have is a Large Red Copperlock and it’s gorgeous Love the Sowbelly mine is the Buffalo Horn and I had to polish the cam to get it to open when it came bc it had a burr on it and the action was full of grit! That other Bose knife is oh so sweet Case was missing him but I guess they got a new Custom Maker to design knives for them Beautiful display of knives Stephen atb
Thank you my friend your collection sounds amazing and like myself it brings joy just to get them all out and fondle them.mind you you might have to take leave from work.lol 😜 thanks for your support.
Mornin’ Paddy. Every time I get a Smokey Mountain Knife Works catalog in the mail, generally the first seven pages are dedicated to Case. I’m reluctant to spend 60, 70, 80 dollars on something that might be awful. I just can’t bring myself to trust them. Maybe I should do what you do, and buy used stuff you can actually see. Thanks sir.
Honestly if I can't get good pictures or a short video I don't buy now ,to many hard lessons learned early on.lol.atb paddy. Ps.buying from friends also good.
I haven't acquired a new Case since I was a kid (~20 years ago), but I'm probably gonna get one of the s35vn Backpockets. I'm generally not a fan of bone/horn on knives, but that's a problem that's equally fun and easy to solve.
It would be much harder collecting Case knives from as far from the US as you live. I think you have quite a few special models that are hard to find even in the United States. The little Razor Knife is a real find.☘🥔🔪
I brought a Soddy Jr to work for couple months n some coworkers made fun of me until they seen me cutting Poly like a laser.. Love me some Case i Gift the sodbuster JR most often. I actually just ordered New Boker Traditional 2.0 gentlemens lockback in d2 red bone . Cant wait . Id love Case do to a line with modern steel Imagine a Sodbuster Jr with Cruwear Steel. That copperhead looks like sycamore.
A very nice collection that shows many different styles, thanks for sharing, Paddy.

Like you I collect all the different Patterns but occasionally I get a Custom Sheath so then I’ll collect a Series of Knives that fits the sheath Right now I’m collecting Sodbuster Jrs to fit the lovely sheath I bought from GA Adventurer which BtW also fits single blade Barlows such as the Boker Copper and the Case Sawcut
I love that Swayback of yours and I have two of that Pattern
That Razor is sweet
I have a bunch of Medium Stockman knives with Spay Pen and Punch blades I love them all
Love the Sycamore Copperhead The Sycamore I have is a Large Red Copperlock and it’s gorgeous
Love the Sowbelly mine is the Buffalo Horn and I had to polish the cam to get it to open when it came bc it had a burr on it and the action was full of grit! That other Bose knife is oh so sweet Case was missing him but I guess they got a new Custom Maker to design knives for them

They do look good but I'm hoping they will bring other patterns out in that steel, like a single blade Barlow. ATB paddy
