Great goals! I heard great things on The Poppy War! Hope 2021 brings you good books!!!
I finished the Poppy War trilogy and it was definitely a ride haha I hope you read some fantastic books this year as well!
Ooo I haven’t heard of a lot of these fantasy books. ah! I remember the Emily Windsnap books! PERCY JACKSON!
I’ve been meaning to read Jade City! Everyone has been so excited about it, it sounds fantastic
Seriously everyone has been hyping up Jade City so I'm curious to finally get to it!
I tend to be a mood reader...but I’ve started this year with a couple of reading goals that mean I have somewhat specific books to read each month...and it’s been going well so far! 😂 it’s motivated me to actually tackle my tbr
Yay!! That's so good to hear! I love when people reach their goals haha congrats!
I've mentioned it before, but it amuses me so much how inaccurate the romance novel covers are. The one with the red dress apparently taking place in the regency era? Uhhh that dress looks inspired by maybe the 1850s or so, but even then it's been modernized. =3
Oh I am definitely a mood reader, through and through. Listing out specific books to read over a month or longer generally doesn't work me.
Ohhh so THAT'S what the Percy Jackson series is about. I had never looked it up nor heard anyone say what it's actually about. Huh, that does sound interesting.
Hahaha I'm definitely not surprised. They aren't known for their accuracy :P
Being a total mood reader sounds kinda exciting. Like you never know what you'll be picking up next. So many possibilities!
Oh really? I guess it's such a popular series that people just assume everyone knows what it is haha they are really cute though from what I remember
@@cozyafternoons I think the romance covers are just going for a Vibe of vaguely historic. =3
Haha indeed! I only knew the series was popular, but I didn't know any details. That sounds like a book and series that would be fun to buddy read. I think in 2-3 months a library situation should work out for me, but alas, not yet.
You mean if you're forced to move again, the library situation might improve? I'd love to buddy read these with you if you are interested and can get them! I'm in no rush to reread them, I have all year lol
@@cozyafternoons Yep! Still unclear where we will even be in month. 🙃
Awesome! I did one buddy read last year that I enjoyed, so I'd really like to buddy read again. =)
Sounds stressful, I wish you luck!
I've never done a buddy read, so I'll try not to be too much of a burden
