My raspberries don’t make it inside but the strawberries 🍓 do because they are Gerald’s favourite. You will have an amazing harvest as always no matter what 👍👍. Nothing beats fresh for sure. Have n wonderful weekend, hope Mrs K has a good day, Ali 🌞🥵🫠🇨🇦
@myrustygarden thank you Ali, Mrs K is getting better as better as can be, results of the CT San on Wednesday, next chemo on Thursday, hopefully this one won't knock her about so much.
@nidge2822 didn't manage to get to the allotment this evening as it is raining here so hopefully the remaining Raspberries don't spoil, we need the rain though.
Hey Terry, i'm working through all the missed videos after having loads of family time. My two-year-old granddaughter not only discovered she liked blueberries, but that we have loads ripe on the bushes! None of them made it inside the house, never mind into the freezer. To this video, I say you, Terry King, consistently exceed all expectations with your harvest! ~ Sandra
I'd never describe you as a lazy gardener tony. Your energy never ceases to amaze me. Everything's looking good and tasty mate! ❤ for your good lady x.
WOW the amount of money you save on fruit is fab. I've upped my game this year with the cost of organic fruit here in Chicagoland. But your setup is so great and such variety too.
@RobinGardens grow what we eat Robin and I will be removing some of the outside summer Raspberries because I have too many, making room for another project......🤦🤣
Hi Terry, Greetings from Windermere, Florida zone 9b USA 🇺🇸 I didn't put in a guess on weight. I'm sure it will be HUGE👍 Are you weighing each berry before you pop them in your mouth?😂 Take care of yourself and Mrs.K ❤Peggy❤
@peggyhelblingsgardenwhatyo7920 I have promised myself to weigh everything before I indulge, got some scales on the allotment now so don't have to wait long before filling my face.
Hi Terry. Nice looking dark raspberries. I will look for those. My red gooseberry has got saw fly. Im glad I watched your video about them. Luckily, I have my gooseberries netted. The red ones are delicious. 👍🌱🐛🐛🐛
Thanks for a very tastefullĺlllllll video Terry ha ha,every one ypu taste, from experience I was getting it here. Thanks for tip re caterpillars,I know for next year. Issues two years in row. Great harvest. Well done.
Beautiful harvest terry. Yum, yum. I love all soft fruit. I need to get some Autumn Gold raspberries- they are so sweet and delicious. I am busy harvesting Black and redcurrants, Loganberries, Jostaberries. My gooseberries hardly fruited this year 😞 Shortly the blackberries will be ready. Is theer a quick way to prepare black and redcurrants for the freezer? Happy gardening Terry and all 🙂
Hey Terry, My autumn fruiting raspberries are producing to and they are taller than they have ever been..😮 I don't think anyone on your list is going to be close to the final weigh in, unfortunately I was too late to enter 😭. I'm so behind in watching videos. I've got about 10hrs backed up to watch.. The blotches on the gooseberries are actually powdery mildew.. Great harvest Mr king...☺️🐮🐮🐮
@izzywizzy2361 starting to freeze some of the Summer fruiting already, will make and freeze some more crumbles, still have lots of jam from last season.....🤦😋😁.
Blackberries are my fav and what a great crop I hope you get, do you find the fruit of the thorn less Berry have a good as taste as the wonderful wild one with thorns? Ha "lazy gardener you!!! my eye" don't think you'd ever waste a moment of your time. Nice update 👍 Edit: the marks on the gooseberries looked like a bit of sunburn?
@maude5160 the thorn less are a bit tart, but I still have enough now frozen from last season to add to any apples that I get, normally the blackberries aren't ready until the apples have finished. Well prepared this season. Need another freezer.......🤣. Thank you with the sunburn, that does make sense and on the right direction.
LOL! Belinda - do you think we can share a punnet of raspberries if we guess right - unless Terry's excuse me moments empty it?! Pesky crows nicking the top bits of raspberries and the blackbirds are nicking the bits underneath! Never been an issue before.
Do you ever eat wild brambles Terry? We have load growing by us in the wildlife area. and can easily be reached over the small wood fencing. I have seen people picking them last year and I think that they are still alive!🤣 When I was a kid, I was never as cautious. Great news, I have 7 gooseberries this year and the currant tomatoes have self seeded for a 3rd year, just need about 40 of them to make my salad.😂
my redcurrants had the same effect on me, terry. none made it to the kitchen, lol.. i've already pruned my redcurrants as i've eaten all the fruit. they fruit next year on the growth from this year. they have the rest of the year to produce the growth i require...............brian

@jimstormcrow disappointing that these Raspberries don't throw out runners, at some point I will have to split the crown 😉.
