Love all 3 Paddington movies. I went to the 3rd one apprehensive due to changing the director and Mrs brown actor but I was prepared to call her mom by the end! Colin firth was originally meant to play Paddington but I’m glad they discovered Ben Whishaw because his voice really makes the movie!
I love the paddington bear films and can watch them all the time and never get fed up with watching all three films are absolutely fantastic and they are really funny and I like his funny behaviour in the three movies.
So happy I have both on Blu Ray cause they're terrific. I actually caught the first film when I was at a dentist appointment years ago (no joke) and I just couldn't help but be in such a good mood. While the second film is better, the first is great in it's own right. The cast is really strong with special mention to Ben Whishaw as Paddington & Sally Hawkins as Mrs Brown. The effects on Paddington are surprisingly really great. These movies really set a new high standard for kids/family films especially after coming off a period where there were tons that were nothing more than cash grabs. Hopefully the 3rd film is at least good once I get the chance to catch it when it gets a wider release. I remember around the time of The Wild Robot's release and after the Minecraft Movie trailer came out there was a lot of talk about how there should be a demand for a higher standard for kids/family films. I wanted to do a list of films that best fit the criteria & the Paddington films definitely would've been on there. Excellent stuff.
