This help me fix my power point error
codecs download files and page format have all changed. Tried downloading the newer version and clicked to install it anyways. The zip file opened okay. Then I clicked unto the correct install file and that seemed to go okay. But then...NOTHING. Same old error keeps coming up about needing Quicktime codes from Apple...which of course is obsolete. I tried relocating the opened lav files into the Program files directory. Still no success. Your video comments seem to indicate that your instructions worked a few years ago, but not any longer. So now....I have to keep hunting for another support work-around.
