I've been poppin' since the early 80's but never perfected any one particular move, I've seen loads of tuts on You Tube, but Poppin John is the best popper I have seen EVER!! You're the man!!!
Wow, that is really detailed, thank you! I tried a few waves for the first time ever and while it was far from perfect, I can see that to begin with counting the wave steps is important to make sure you don't miss any steps! Later after getting all the steps correct, then you can begin to speed up and make it flow with practice! Great tutorial! 64 years young dancer here!😎

Hello 😊 i always thought i was an artist but this last year I allowed myself to truely be free and dance and by watching your videos and others dancers and actually practicing over and over i became quite good to my surprise and discovered im not just an artist im actually a DANCER! Thats my true passion. Im about to turn 40 this year and im more intune with the universe and everything and the happiest ive ever been by following my passion & not caring about others opions, that set me free. I'm starting choreography to a dance performance of my own this week with the intent to do a street performance in front of everyone. About the "bucket" position, i find it easier to find on the way out, focusing on keeping the hand in a fixed position, as i lower my shoulder and lift the elbow. Going out of the "bucket" position i focus on keeping the fingertips fixed, so the hand rotates around that fixed point, as i stretch the arm.
