Hi Dr, may I know what wire do you use for this bend?

Hi @hjhanayosh, thank you for the message.
For extrusion or intrusion bends in orthodontic treatment, stainless steel or titanium molybdenum alloy (TMA) wires can be utilized.
The selection of wire shape and size is contingent upon the specific stage of treatment. Typically, these bends are executed during the finishing stage to avert the need for bracket repositioning, which might otherwise result in the undesirable round-tripping of wires.
I hope this helps and if you would like more information please contact our team at info@cephtactics.com

Can you make two extrusion bends for two teeth next to one another?

Certainly! Yes, we can use extrusion/intrusion bends for two adjacent teeth. The size and placement of these bends depend on the patient's needs and treatment plan, but precision is a must to achieve the desired outcomes and avoid unwanted movement of the respective teeth.
