When I read the summary of this book I knew I had to read it. I’m also Dominican and my brother and I are separated, I’m in New York and he’s in DR and our dad passed away from a crash as well 2 months ago. The similarities between the book and my life is what makes this book so special. I haven’t even read it yet and I know it’s going to be my favorite book.
